4/29/10. 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The pour is cloudy orange with suspension all under a creamy white head that doesn’tace at all. The aroma is hinting at skunk with creamed corn, rotten fruit, and a dash of sour raspberry. The flavor is bland wheat with a hint of oven baked raspberry flavor. Though not awesome on the flavor, it’s much better than the aroma.

Draft sample at the brewery. Pours a cloudy peach color with a medium white head. Aroma of raspberries, wheat, yeast, sugar. Flavor of raspberry candy, yeast, and wheat- very much in line with the nose. Medium bodied, and smooth. Sweet, with a wheaty mouthfeel. This was a favorite among a lot of my friends visiting that day; I thought it was a nice fruit/wheat beer but nothing outstanding.

Bottle.
Pours an average cheddar orange with a nice white head and an aroma of overly malted fruit nuts, rotten raspberry, and a touch of plumb. Flavor is honey malt, light roasted fruit, sweet vinegar, and cereal. Average mouthfeel. Raspberry? Where?

12 oz. bottle picked up at the brewery. This beer is clear golden with a short lived white head. Distinct raspberry nose that overrides everything else. Flavor is also raspberries with a light dirtiness to them. Very light citrus fruit notes and deep down cloves are tasted. This is a raspberried up version of their wheat beer and it is not a bad fruit beer.

Pours golden / yellow with a sudsy white head. The aroma has lots of real raspberries, clean american wheat, light spice and a pith quality. Medium / light body with sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with a light sweetness, subtle raspberries, dry american wheat and a light graininess The finish is spicy and on the medicinal side. Decent fruit wheat beer.

Pour is a red/orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent amount of raspberry with some yeast. Flavor is again a nice amount of the raspberry with some wheat at the end. Hey this ain’t half bad. I have had plenty of fruit/wheat beers that smell great but taste like crap. This one actually tastes just as fresh and fruity as the aroma.

Tasted 9/23/09. 12oz bottle. Pours hazy and sedimented with an orange gold hue. Brainy white head. Candy aromas with an emphasis on Lucky Charms marshmallows. Medium bodied with a 7Up effervescence and nice berry nuances. Decent crispness and moderate tingling. Finishes smooth with faint hop notes. Short lived dryness in the malt bill. Sticky and bright. Decent.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy golden colored body with an orange tint. Finger-width, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is sweet, fruity raspberries and a mild wheat malt. A bit sugary at times with some yeast. Flavor is similar. Not quite as sugary raspberry as the aroma, but still fairly sweet. More mild wheat malts and a moderate, balancing raspberry. Finishes with some yeast, more wheat, and a faint grass before slowly drying with a shorter aftertaste. Medium body and moderately fizzy carbonation. Overall, an unexciting, but tasty fruit-wheat beer. Not overly sweet or too bland, but well balanced and refreshing. Okay.

Orangish-red color, with a quickly dissappearing head. Smells very sweet, almost like kool-aid. Hmm...okay, it kind of tastes like this. Take the previously mentioned raspberry kool-aid, make it a bit more bitter, and thicken it up. Thats about what you have here. Not too bad actually,

Narnad (1147) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2010
Pours a deep, hazy, orange color with a tall, bubbly, white head. Aroma has a strong fruity raspberry note, mild wheat, light sweetness and mild noble hops note. Flavor has a very nice raspberry fruitiness that tastes exactly like the real fruit vs. the extract. Light taste of mild noble hops with a wheat is presence late. Body is light with a very crisp texture. Lots of carbonation is present in this brew. Overall a great beer. One of the first fruit beers where the fruit flavor tastes real. Definitely a solid beer for the warm weather and one that was surprising since the other beers I have had from this brewery were so-so.
