3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 OzarkElmo (250) - Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA - AUG 18, 2009
From bottle to pint glass. Hazy golden color with moderate white head. Nice aroma with hint of a "real" raspberry flavor, not from a medicine bottle. Very tasty beer - preferred over their regular wheat which was surprising to me. Wheat in the taste along with citrus and raspbery - and a slightly dry finish. I agree wholeheartedly with another rater and say it both smells great and tastes the same - nice offering and would purchase again - Cheers!

Pours hazy whit gold, thin head and medium lacing. Aroma is fresh raspberries under a sweet wheat nose, some yeastyness. Think toast with raspberry jam. Flavor is initially wheat, followed by an almost too fruity moment, then a nice lemony wheat spell giving way to a grassy, dry finish. Refreshing and not overly sweet. I must admit my love for raspberries may produce a more favorable rating.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Narnad (1147) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2010
Pours a deep, hazy, orange color with a tall, bubbly, white head. Aroma has a strong fruity raspberry note, mild wheat, light sweetness and mild noble hops note. Flavor has a very nice raspberry fruitiness that tastes exactly like the real fruit vs. the extract. Light taste of mild noble hops with a wheat is presence late. Body is light with a very crisp texture. Lots of carbonation is present in this brew. Overall a great beer. One of the first fruit beers where the fruit flavor tastes real. Definitely a solid beer for the warm weather and one that was surprising since the other beers I have had from this brewery were so-so.

Hazy straw colored body with a foamy white head. Light and pleasant aroma that is pretty much all raspberry with a hint of malt. Medium mouthfeel. This is a fine fruit beer. There’s a flavor of fresh raspberries, instead of the overpowering artificial flavor you get sometimes with fruit beers. Very smooth and semi-sweet. Refreshing and tasty. Thumbs up.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 vyvvy (2920) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Pours golden / yellow with a sudsy white head. The aroma has lots of real raspberries, clean american wheat, light spice and a pith quality. Medium / light body with sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with a light sweetness, subtle raspberries, dry american wheat and a light graininess The finish is spicy and on the medicinal side. Decent fruit wheat beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 phaleslu (3544) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 16, 2009
Draft sample at the brewery. Pours a cloudy peach color with a medium white head. Aroma of raspberries, wheat, yeast, sugar. Flavor of raspberry candy, yeast, and wheat- very much in line with the nose. Medium bodied, and smooth. Sweet, with a wheaty mouthfeel. This was a favorite among a lot of my friends visiting that day; I thought it was a nice fruit/wheat beer but nothing outstanding.

12 oz. bottle; It seamed to have a pink hue as it poured a slightly clowdy golden color with a 1 finger head that didn’t last long. The aroma of raspberry was present. The flavor also had raspberries but somewhat artificial with other typical wheat beer flavors.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Pawola22 (2203) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 16, 2010
12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy golden colored body with an orange tint. Finger-width, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is sweet, fruity raspberries and a mild wheat malt. A bit sugary at times with some yeast. Flavor is similar. Not quite as sugary raspberry as the aroma, but still fairly sweet. More mild wheat malts and a moderate, balancing raspberry. Finishes with some yeast, more wheat, and a faint grass before slowly drying with a shorter aftertaste. Medium body and moderately fizzy carbonation. Overall, an unexciting, but tasty fruit-wheat beer. Not overly sweet or too bland, but well balanced and refreshing. Okay.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Strykzone (3132) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2010
12 oz. bottle picked up at the brewery. This beer is clear golden with a short lived white head. Distinct raspberry nose that overrides everything else. Flavor is also raspberries with a light dirtiness to them. Very light citrus fruit notes and deep down cloves are tasted. This is a raspberried up version of their wheat beer and it is not a bad fruit beer.

Pour is a red/orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent amount of raspberry with some yeast. Flavor is again a nice amount of the raspberry with some wheat at the end. Hey this ain’t half bad. I have had plenty of fruit/wheat beers that smell great but taste like crap. This one actually tastes just as fresh and fruity as the aroma.
