1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours light gold with an enormous head. Aroma of pine, lemon, and cattiness, but mostly pine and lemon. Flavor, though, is overwhelming cattiness followed by some sour lemon. Gagged on the cattiness. Crown Valleyís Wooden Nickel IPA sucked massively, and so does this - itís like cat urine mixed with Lemon Pledge. My gosh. These guys make the worst IPAs in the nation.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Crown Valley Whitewall IPA has an extremely foamy, off-white head, lively carbonation, thick lacing left behind, and many bubble streams (etched glass). The aroma is very much of coriander and especially oranges, with a background of white bread. Taste is of white bread, bread crust, sweetness, oranges, some bitterness, no alcohol, and a touch of coriander. Mouthfeel is light to medium and a bit slick, and Crown Valley Whitewall IPA finishes crisp, semi-dry, refreshing, and a bit cloying or overly sweet/spiced. Overall, this is different and excellent. bottle. the carbonation on this is completely overdone, but very nice fruity yeastiness and great hops offset that. Best beer Iíve had from this brewery.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle via STL in-person trade. Pours a cloudy gold with a moderate fizzy white head that settles quickly. Aroma of coriander, straw, dough, lemon, herbs, and wildflowers. Flavor of lemon, dandelion and other florals, grass, straw, perfume, coriander, and bready malts. Light-medium bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a floral, sharp, bitter mouthfeel. Unique beer thatís like a blend of American IPA and Belgian witbier.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
When poured entirely into a glass, the opaque golden color with the huge white head are simply impressive, and the aroma is a nice fusion of oranges, floral hops, and wheat. The taste is immediately mildly bitter but then rounds itself out with a mild sweetness and a touch of sourness. The palate combines a medium body, slightly bitter finish, lively carbonation, and a sticky texture.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not a bad ipa. Was skeptical when instead the description on the bottle but it comes together quite nicely. Fruity orange aroma. Light yellow color with a decent white head. Spice and lemon in the flavor to fold in the Belgian white aspects. The finish is a little harsh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a decent IPA. Vaughn and I were treated to this beer at Mikeís Green Room in KC in 2013. A tad bit watery but there is a decent amount of orange and coriander. Very nice aroma.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. Nearly opaque, orange-golden color with a half inch of spongy head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit zest, spicy mango, resin, and hints of banana and pear. Taste shows citrus zest, metal and resin overpowering a tropical-blend bubblegum, then finishing with some cardboard and wheat. Light-medium body finishes dry and is too fizzy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy yellow, loose white head. Smells more hoppy than anything, very citrus, with some other fruity, spicy notes. Flavor is light bodied, with a lot of hop character. Certainly seem to concentrate on the IPA character more than the Belgian White character.
