2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 vyvvy (2920) - Florissant, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Big thanks to strykzone for picking this up for me from the brewery. It definitely seems like its on the old side, but since this was consumed a couple days after the brewery sold it and no date is on the bottle I’ll put a rating in. Pours golden copper with a large soapy off-white head. The aroma is soapy with milk caramel, toasty malt and basement must. Medium smooth body and some smooth carbonation on the finish. The flavor starts much like the aroma and has some nuttiness and spicy hops. The finish almost has a lager smoothness to it. When I had this it was not to sytle - low hops, heavy malt and while I don’t get much oxidation it seems old.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 kdm1984 (139) - Missouri, USA - MAY 4, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2012 Sour, vomity grain flavor, vile herbal funk. Blecch. Sampled this at a fest and nearly spit it out. Worst IPA I’ve ever had. An embarrassment to us craft beer geeks in the state of Missouri.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 unclemattie (3351) - Georgia, USA - APR 23, 2012
12oz bottle. Orange color, white head. Aroma of floral hops, pine sol, light pale malts. Earthy hop bitterness, not much malt. Seems to be an older /aged bottle. Maybe a fresh one would be better. (3314)
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Onslow (711) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAR 18, 2012
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Light amber brew with off white head. Light aroma of floral and pine hops. Taste is mild, light grain with a modest hoppy finish. Rather light and weak for an IPA.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Frank (2059) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 25, 2012
This pours a cloudy orange color w/ a thin white head of fine bubbles. Nose is sort of tutt-fruity hops w/ a bit of pine. A bit sweet and slightly sticky but balanced by earthy hops. Not a bad beer but not really fresh or vibrant tasting, which is what I want out of an IPA.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 anggrec (45) - Delaware, USA - FEB 17, 2012
From bottle to tulip. Hazy orange color. Not much aroma. subdued bitter hoppy flavor. Ok.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 Jayklew (11) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2012
12oz bottle. Tulip glass.
Very little aroma. Some floral and citrus notes. Nothing stands out. Fairly weak bouquet.
Pours orange. Hazy. 2 fingers head. Lasting, dissipates slowly. Not an inviting appearance.
Taste is bitter. Some light citrus notes. Nothing stands out.
Mouthfeel is typical for an IPA.
Overall, not worth buying again.
