3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle from a six-pack purchased at The Wine and Cheese Place. Put the other five in boxes as trade bonuses. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a somewhat dull quality and a finger-thick fizzy white head that settles into a small ring. Aroma of grass, dust, straw, sweet and pale malts, and dry grains. Flavor of grass, cereal, dust, pale malts, crackers, and straw. I canít really pull the hops out individually but thereís definitely some bitterness to this one. Light-bodied, with a dry, grainy, bitter mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Somewhat odd IPA.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at SAVOR 2011. Served in a goblet.
Pours a clear strawy-yellow color with a small white head and sparse lacing. The nose is very, very grainy and doesnít really carry any hops at all. I can say the same thing about the flavor, which is quite unfortunate. Perhaps the mildest bit of citrus lingering in the background, but only if I really search for it. Light to medium body and no real bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Hop City in Atlanta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a hazed, orange-toned body with a fairly sizable, sudsy, off-white head. Smattering of lace on the descent.
Smell: Lightly grainy-scented malt, faintly sweetish in the nose, certainly yielding to the more forward hop notes of citrus, florals, and spice.
Taste: A biscuity blend of pale and pils malts underscored by some graininess and accompanied by small, fleeting tastes of sweetish honey and light-colored caramel. Floral, orange blossom hop character with a pinch of bitterish dried herbs. Has an accruing citric quality about it. Moderate bitterness. Drying, orange zested finish with some enduring bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, if not a hair or so under. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Itís alright, you know, fairly average all-around; itís not the boldest IPA out there, by any means, but nor is it the blandest, either.
