Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chlorine. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt caramel, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100629]

Bottled. A murky brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty and spicy. And so is the flavor, in the flavor cloves and sage are quite strong together with notes of brown sugar, leading to a dry end.
