I was very supprised about the good tasting of the beer. Furthermore the overall appearance and the style of the beer is very "goodlooking".

Normally not my thing, but i was curious so tried it. Liked the dark and somewhat sweet taste. This one may actually take me away from my white beers from time to time

Thanks Wunderbier. I really enjoyed this actually. A reddish brown appearance with a frothy head. Some figs, raisins, and chocolate in the aroma. The flavor was somewhat sour with some cherries, chocolate, and peanuts. Some alcohol shows up in the finish. Seems well balanced. Im a foo for dubbels I think.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with medium-laced head. Looks delicious, and didn't disappoint with a hefty nose of malt, brown sugar, and dark fruit. Pretty sweet, but not obnoxiously so. The mouthfeel was smooth and balanced, and it went well with a hot dinner of chicken. Really solid. My next session dubbel- as I have bought a slab of these. Who would have thought the Netherlands could take it up to the Belgians like this?

Light butterscotch and caramel aroma with a little yeast. Dark brown color, light brown head, good lace. Light sweet, light sour, soft bitterness, caramel leaning to butterscotch, sparkling and refreshing.

Red/brown colour. Fruity and sweet aroma. Full taste, a bit wine-like, fruity, cherries. Malty and yeasty. Very fine, nice drinkable brew.
