I had never heard of this supposedly (according to the label) Dutch beer. But it was actually not that bad. Quite dark cloudy brown coloured, small but lasting brown head. Roasted malts and chocolate in aroma. Very sweet flavour, but nevertheless ok.

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit and yeast. Flavour is caramel, dark fruit, yeast and light alcohol

Pours a clear and reddish brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel, yeast and some fruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness with some alcoholwarmth. Overall an average beer.

Bottle @ Odense Late March Tasting, 2012. Pours ruby dark amber with a small creamy head. Lots of dark fruit, caramel and a bit of yeast. Full bodied. Sweet and warming. Fine Belgium.

Odense spring time specialties night at Dolle. Chestnut with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel and plums. Sweet sugary flavour with fruity notes.

A clear red/brown colored beer, with a big beige head. The aroma of caramel, fruits and some bitter. The taste of caramel, fruity sweet, notes of bitter. The aftertaste is caramel sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Clear brown color with an average head. Smell malts and a little roasted. Taste is lightle sweet and a little bitter. Carbo is ok.

Sanft malzig-hefiger Antrunk, im Mittelteil übermäßig mild. Karamellmalzig, mild, etwas langweilig. 9/7/7/6/6/7

Bottle at home. Aroma of bready yeast, sugary malts, some metallic notes and a hint of chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet chocolate and some fruits. Quite some yeast as well. Slightly roasted. Not too bad but nothing special either. Creamy texture and lively carbonation.

It’s red mahogany with a creamy head and the aroma has notes of malt, fruit, light apple and candy-sugar. The flavour is sweet with notes of candy-sugar, malt, grapefruit, iron and the finish is slightly dry.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chlorine. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt caramel, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100629]
