Clear amber-brown, appley, winey character, soft, apple, pear, subtle alcohol late. Has a good barrelly character. Nothing special but a nice experiment.

Draft. Small off-white head atop crystal clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, raisin/plum, some caramel, light vinous. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, plum/raisin, light alcohol. Sticky medium-full body, low carbonation.

Bottle shared by GT. Copper pour with an off-white head. Caramel, brown sugar, and overly sweet fruit. Plum, banana, and pears. Some yeast and apple, too. A bit of metal on the tongue. Cloying sugar, caramel, and fruit sweetness. Pear, banana, plum, and grapes.

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours dark ruddy copper with slight, transient, tannish head. Aroma of medium dark stone fruit - rather plummy. Med + body. Mild carb. Flavor is very prune with some yeast/spice. For me it’s a dubble trying to be a quad. Extremely tasty with the pluminess. Finishes more dry than not, tho there’s a good bit of malt involved.

Bottle... Pours clear and brilliantly copper with a small, dense, lightly tanned head. The nose is a mishmash of astringent acetone, maple woodiness and Belgian yeast spiciness. Full-bodied and syrupy with lively carbonation. The flavor presents loads of dates, a mild amount of dried plum and light acidity. Tangy, dark-fruity, mildly bitter finish.

Bottle. Poured an amberish color with a smaller sized off white head. Dark fruits, caramel, and some citrus. Sweeter with the alcohol overall well hidden.

500mL thanks to a trade. Pours a clear, deep red with medium yellow foam. Nose is cloying cherry syrup/grenadine. Taste is metallic, grenadine, harsher stomach acid, cloying sugar. Finish is copper metallic all the way. Not good.

On tap at Belmont Station’s Bier Cafe, pours a mostly clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a mix of candied sugar, licorice, Belgian spices, and wine barrels - not sure it’s all cohesive. Flavour brings out candied sugar upfront, along with raisins, followed by red wine barrels. Weird stuff. It’s definitely not very cohesive, but at least there are no harsh elements. Decent, but haphazard.
