COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hops climb up twine that’s just loosely tied to the trellis with a half hitch knot— and this Imperial IPA is just loosely tied to tradition. The Mosaic hop imparts surprisingly floral aromas instead of the more expected grapefruit-y notes. On the palate, complex layers of flavors might remind you of guava, mango, stone fruit and lemon, unraveling your idea of what an Imperial IPA should be.

Bottled on 2/11/2014, consumed 5/11/2014. Pours clear golden-orange with a very thin off-white head, and little carbonation. Sweet tropical fruit aroma. Flavor follows aroma: guava is the major element here, and in general tropical fruit dominates. Very flavorful, and a great showcase for Mosaic hops. Mildly bitter, slightly spicy, slightly boozy finish. Medium body, oily, somewhat flat.

On tap at the Oregon Gardens Brewfest. Citrus, light pine, tropical fruit and caramel. Very smooth. Thick and resiny. Finish is a bit boozy in a good way. Tasty.

Draught. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a very large white head on it. Nose is very hoppy and inviting, with a lot of floral and grassiness to it. Taste is moderately bitter and very fresh. This ends up being rather smooth and refreshing. Great drink.

On tap at Apex, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of tropical fruits, piney hops, and biscuity caramel malt. Flavour is similar, with a wonderful balance of tropical fruits, resinous hops, and caramel malt. Loads of depth here, with a lightly sweet, and resinous hoppy finish. Excellent.

Cloudy robust orange with full inch of white head. Strong hay aroma, floral and pine hops and fresh peach too. Average carbonation, fairly viscous, finishes clean. Pine and melon flavor, fairly mellow for the ABV. Very well matched malt bill. Lack of bitterness is fascinating and makes an overall watery-ness.

Straw gold hazy pour. White head, decent lace. Buttery biscuit, fresh peach nose. Strong peach and mango with a cloying and simplistic sugar cane sweetness. Just about zero perceptible bitterness. Hop flavor is fantastic, if the residual sugar was dialed back and bitterness increased this could be a great beer.

pleasant floral aroma with a rich golden color, slightly cloudy. A touch of creaminess to a rich hoppy flavor. Goes nicely with some spicy food.

Second time enjoying from a 375 ml bottle. Pours beautifully with a light orange body & a gentle white head. Strong floral hop aromatics escape the glass quickly. A fuller bodied IPA with a fruity flavor base. More tropical/stone fruit than citrus. Bitter, hoppy finish. Shows some boozy heat. Overall a very good DIPA.
