4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a very large white head on it. Nose is very hoppy and inviting, with a lot of floral and grassiness to it. Taste is moderately bitter and very fresh. This ends up being rather smooth and refreshing. Great drink.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2014 Yes, please. Very well made double IPA - not over the top but very nice soft aromatics and flavor. Lots of floral and tropical fruit in both. Medium bittering. Sooooo smooth.
Also goes from tap to bottle very very well. Such a soft feel for a 10% beer!

On tap at the Beer Baron. It pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is lightly dank with some sweaty tropical fruit. Papaya candy. The flavor has more candied tropical fruit, fruit basket and touches of citrus. Nice hop character, but a touch sweet. Overall, good.

375 bottle Derek A. shared last night... Pours clear golden with a decent enough white head and lacing.
Aroma is holy hoppy!! Wowzers... Big mosaic (I guessed Mosaic before Derek dropped the info :-) Huge/light fruity hoppiness with a bit of melon and something that I guess is floral hops... That said, this is an amazing nose.
Big bitterness with perfect malty drinkability... light malt with melon hops and a bit of floral essence.. so very drinkable.. I would love Crux all the time.. the hops get a bit catty on the finish, but I am not complaining that hard. Catty vs. Amazing DIPA... Crux wins.
