COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hops climb up twine that’s just loosely tied to the trellis with a half hitch knot— and this Imperial IPA is just loosely tied to tradition. The Mosaic hop imparts surprisingly floral aromas instead of the more expected grapefruit-y notes. On the palate, complex layers of flavors might remind you of guava, mango, stone fruit and lemon, unraveling your idea of what an Imperial IPA should be.

Pineapple aroma with a hint of resinhazy, golden, white foam, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, creamy, average carbonation, not as dry as most IPAs, nice finish.

pour from a day old growler that we found under a bridge while we were looking for needles to shoot up midnight black tar heroin .. . very grassy ipa .. mild mouth .. enjoyable, would like to try more from this brewery. now let me continue with my delightful tale of heroin abuse. it started when i was 13 and huffing glue had just became too mundane....

Poured from tap to glass. Straw hue with pillowy white head that lingered. Aroma is tangerine, pine, resinous, orange peel, sugar, slight ethanol. Mouthfeel is great with a full body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet with a nice hop bitterness following. Overall this is a really nice brew.

A really fantastic IPA. Big citrus notes, like throwing a grapefruit on a bass drum. There's a bitter finish, but the fruity aftertaste remains for quite a while.

Very clear golden with a good pale head. Aroma is orange zest, passionfruit, pineapple, guava, ruby grapefruit, hint of pine. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, fruity bitterness on the palate, pretty well balanced. Taste is bitter orange, grapefruit, touch of pine resin and a hint of guava. Subtle hint of cooked pineapple in the aftertaste.

Bottle pour at home. Golden pour light head, hop and citrus aroma. Smooth poure with some bite at the end. Solid IPA doesn’t tast like a 10% beer.

Growler thanks to Jason. Pours a clear gold with no head. The aroma is strong mosiac and hemp. Thin mouth, nice mosiac, light bitterness, juicy, really nice.

Bottle (12.7oz $6) 3 weeks old. Mostly clear golden with one finger white head that disappears. Aroma is strong floral. Taste is somewhat tropical. Sweet tropical fruits. Finishes pretty dry with some bitterness.

Bottled. Fresh and served cold. Pours hazy copper-orange with a short-head. Good retention and decent lace. Aroma indicates and ingredient rich endeavor. Layers of spruce and resin on the nose. Hint of lemon citrus and possibly floral elements. Malt is in the backdrop. Medium sweet flavor that quickly shows complexity and balance. Stone fruit, mango, and plenty of pine. Full body, average carbonation, sticky-creamy texture, and a long medium bitter finish. A complex, well-made Imperial IPA.

Bottle in Seattle. Incredible aroma, deep skunky grapefruit, sweaty in the best way. Light orange body is sweet musty hop, mint and deep citrus. Grapefruit is predominant. Body isn’t quite as fascinating as the aroma. Alc is incredibly well balanced in. Lovely tasty beer.
