It’s not a Pale and it’s not an IPA—it’s “on the fence.” A solid malt backbone with significant hop flavors and aromas (Centennial and Citra), medium alcohol and bitterness.

probably their most boring beer, and that says a lot as it was still nice. Served on NO2, and it just isn’t a big enough beer for that. Came across a weak but tasty pale as opposed to cross of apa and ipa like they were going for.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a copper gold topped with a white head. Nose is floral hops cereal malts and some grass. Taste is a nice floral hop and a good smooth malty sweetness on the end.

On draft at Crux with Taylor on a fantastic Friday at sunset. Pours rinse clear with white head. Aroma is fresh dark floral hops, hint if spicy hops, still clean and fresh. Taste is a little thin; pretty clean with not much going on, amber earthy hops, hint of caramel, finish is sticky red hops.

on tap (NITRO) at the brewery. Clear dark yellow pour with a white head. So smooth and creamy. Big caramel malty notes. Mild grapefruit hop notes. A bit minerally. Good body and mouthfeel.

Tap. Colour...golden-amber with a thin off white head. Nose...spent grain, Ralston cereal and hints of citrus. Palate...grain-like up front with biscuits and toffee chips. The CO2 is light and does not increase with swishing. The finish has Malt-o-Meal and some syrup with bits of hops.

Solid malt profile with a slight cereal grain character which gives it a hearty fresh quality. Some grassy notes with floral hop presence.

Tap at Crux. Pours a clear orange, wispy weak lacing. Nose is stickier orange. Taste is more in the tropical IPA area, lots of sticky orange, toffee, sweet tea. Biting hop content. Doesn’t meld well.

This is a really great flavored beer. Fantastic hop character without a ton of bitterness. A beer you could drink all day.
