500ml bottle in a tulip. Pours golden/amber with a white head. Aroma of light galaxy hops with hints of bitterness, some pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a decent blend but the bottle is probably old. Average texture. Not a bad beer, would like to try fresh.

Those "down under" hops actually do it for me. One of the first IPA’s I have enjoyed in a while.

Tap at Tin Bucket
A: Gold color, white head, lacing.
N: Pineapple, grapefruit, mango, pine, earth, and a bit of hemp.
T: Good bitterness, underpinning sweetness.
M: Creamy carbonation, resinous medium body, no alcohol presence.
O: Good IPA. Nose vastly outshines the taste, and this is less dry than I would expect for a west coast IPA, but it’s better than I expected as well.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is rather tropical fruit with hints of slightly roasty malt and something suggesting creme brulee. Near full bodied. Flavor is suggestive of mango and pineapple, and citrus, with a lot of hop florality and some decent caramel support. Rather laid back in intensity of flavors, but not so with respect to bitterness. A nice finish with floral hop bitter that tingles!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours clear golden orange, large off-white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing remains. Aroma is garlic and onions, passionfruit, armpits. Flavor is pretty light sweet, medium bitter, green onion, vegetal, grainy malt, some dankness and pot. Medium light body, lingering bitterness. Well crafted, but too much green onion for one beer.
