This Pre-Prohibition recipe uses 15% corn, 35% 6 row barley, and 50% 2 row barley. Smooth and easy on the palette, this was beer before prohibition.

10/19/13 On draught at crux - pours crystal clear golden, small white head. Nose of grass, grape, and grain. Taste is very mild with mostly grassy and grainy taste. Slight bitter dry finish. Worth trying.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at Crux. Pours a clear straw to white with weak foam. Wispy lacing. Nose is sweet white grape- oh no not again- sweet candy gumdrops. Taste is the same with white grape juice, apple. Mealy, chalky finish. Ugh.
