COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saison, French for season, was traditionally brewed during the harvest season for Belgian Farm workers. With the harvest season upon us, we bring to the table our Saison, teasing with hints of citrus and spices. Hops and malt are well-balanced and layered with just a touch of sourness.

On draught at roscoes - almost no head, nice golden color. Nose if biscuit and cloves. Taste of bubble gum and cloves. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse. Pours a clear golden straw color, lots of head. Aroma is slightly funky, maybe a bit of barnyard, mustiness, very subtle. Body is very slight, belies the ABV of the beer itself. Lively, yes, warming, no. Finish is sweet, sugary. Would’ve liked a bit more spice and malt. WAY more ABV than style guidelines might dictate, but this is really an exceptional beer.

On tap at Apex, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, dry rustic qualities and some funk. Flavour of rustic notes, Belgian yeast and a bit of candied sugar. Not authentic in any way – very US-tasting. Still, very drinkable and flavourful enough – just not my type of saison.
