Draft Extreme Beer Fest 2016. Aroma is deep dark roasted grains, strong oak, cocoa nibs, molasses and a big note worthy bourbon blast.

Deep layers of roast. Molasses, espresso bean, dark bitter chocolate. The bourbon is not hidden in this at all, nice mellow burn on the way down the throat with a nice belly warming sensation. The mouthfeel is correct for the style, nice full and creamy texture. Dense feeling with an oily slick texture. I hope to sample this again someday. This batch of bourbon came out in a wonderful boldness that didn’t over run the base stout. Lovely.

Rating #1622 - #CBC2015 Beer 7 - Welcome Reception - The difference between me and other #5whores is that I readily admit it. Aroma of American oak, bourbon, vanilla toffee wondrously blended into rich cocoa, espresso, roasty, molassesey deliciousness. SOFA KING delicious.
