1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 maledictum (555) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - JUL 10, 2011
330 ml. bottle, with label only in the neck. Clear amber colour, pours a big head that last for a while, be careful when serving it. Smell is mostly from yeast, herbal, and something that reminds me of detergent. In mouth you can feel that, but also some maltiness, caramel and citrus, with a toasted feeling too. Better than the usual Cruzcampo (the one nowadays, it used to be better long ago), but not a great thing.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 eczematic (1304) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 4, 2011
Given the choice of BUL heineken, corona and something I’ve never heard of, I go for the one I’ve never heard of. Oh no, a macrobrew bock. with curly writing on the label complimenting me on my discernment. this smells horrible, fusels, garbage juice, catpiss-soaked cardboard. Flavour is sweaty, sweet and sickly caramel and banana and alcohol, with thin short finish. Bleguugh
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fin (6185) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2011
Bottle from Eroski supermarket, Gernika, Basque country, Northern Spain 28.06.11 consumed outside Frank (Camper) at Logrono campsite, La Rioja, Northern Spain 01.07.11 Pours warm gold with a busy carbonation and a white head. This is a maltier lager but still with a distinctive metallic edge and some minerally flavours. Malty in the mouth the strength is there but its not too pushy, bit sweet, but for a strong lager I don’t mind this at all. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 CamdenD (980) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 1, 2011
This is not bad. I repeat, this is not bad. Pours a nice dark bronze and retains the head. Decent hops come through as well. This beer is passable and even something to seek out. Have only seen it in the bottle and if available at a bar while you’re in Spain, take it.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - MAR 12, 2011
33 cl bottle in La Manga. Clear amber color, nice and lasting off-white head. Strong and a bit strange aroma of malt and hops. Flavor is a bit sweet, has some bitterness, but too much alcohol. If it wasn´t for the alcohol, this would be a good beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Geiserich (2579) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JAN 23, 2011
Bottle: Dark golden color, low head. Malty aroma, some caramel and quite intensive hop notes. Flavor is malty, some notes of caramel and roasted malt. Also some hop notes and a light bitter, hoppy finish. Quite ok.
