330ml can picked up at El Corte Ingles in Palma. Clear, golden-amber body. Firm white head. Grain fruity aroma. Sweet, dried fruity flavours alongside hints of grain malts. A bit jam-like ending. Soft carbonated. Medium bodied. Notable alcohol. Just alright, better than all the Spanish Pale Lagers (Hotel room, Port de Soller 09.07.2013).

Bottle as pictured. Quite an intersting looking bottle, that’s why I picked it up at the supermarket in Spain. Pours a clear, slightly skunked beer with a normal sized, white head on top which settles quickly. Aroma is slightly skunked and flavour is medium sweet. Alcohol, depite being not that high abv, is defintely noticeable. Not so good...

Dark coppery gold with a slim white collar. Nose of fizz, cork, sherbet and apple strudel-like spice. Soft and sherbet-like with red apple, boozy almond, white pepper and spiced biscuit hints. Slightly numbs the tongue. Pronounced alcohol in the finish. Not great but this is Espana. Hotel sink had some.

It’s counterintuitive, but I preferred the regular icy Cruzcampo to the higher end version of Cruzcampo. Orangey brown with a very sweet malt aroma. Too sweet - not enough bitterness to cut through, with the result being a treacly feeling.

33cl bottle. Clear amber with a medium white head. Dark fruits. Metallic. Ok, but not very special.

Bottle. Thanks bigbro. Pours clear amber with a nice, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has sweet malts, light caramel, some vegetable and pepper. Medium, prickly carbonation, dry and fairly oily mouthfeel. Flavour has maize, caramel, still kinda peppery. Metallic dry finish with some kind of sticky sweetness.

brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - APR 14, 2013
(33 cl bottle) golden, clear, with a dense white head. Smells a bit strange, a bit like marzipan indeed, plus something sharp. Aroma has hay, hints of licorice, hints of bubblegum. Taste is lightly sweet with some bitterness, getting stronger in the finish. Palate: at least not watery, but also slightly sticky. Overall: It tastes like a very condensed version of a pale lager, but not a very convincing one. Drinkable, yes, but I would probably not buy it again.

Bottle. Pours a clear light bronze-hued golden body with a small white head. Nose is sugary marzipan malt tones, slightly oxidized touches of dark fruits, licorice and hints of anisseed. Strange aroma. Taste is similar, with strange metallic sweet anisseed tones and some slight citric-bitter tones in the back. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Not very good.
