1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Crystal clear, light yellow lager with a frothy, white head. Excellent, creamy, thick lacing. The nose is of light skunk, citrus fruit and butterscotch. Well-balanced flavor that mirrors the aroma... sans the skunk. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, lightly bitter finish.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
On tap at the Manor Hotel, Crickhowell, Wales. I drank this all night whilst at a friend's wedding. I'm not sure why. Even by the standards of "Summer time" lagers from continental Europe, this is bland stuff. A very soft flavour, lacking in crispness or bite; coupled with a rather rank mouthfeel.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled: To my knowledge "Cruzcampo" means boring in english. Pours pale yellow. Clear. Thin white head. Is sweet and malty in the nose. The flavour is light malty and very watery. Might be good siting on some of those lovely spanish beaches in the summer and then drink this, but I doubt it.

Draft: Light body, refreshing good to quench your thirst in hot summer months. Nothing great.

Very light smell. A little head, medium lacing with a yellow body. A slightly sweet taste with no after taste. This is a very light beer.

This Lager does not taste bad but it also doesn't taste that good too. Light hop, malt flavor. Dry finish.

1.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a good head that leaves some lace, clear pale, golden color but my wife's was a darker amber and slightly less skunky???. Nose is skunky, taste is skunky and slightly hoppy. Fizz is present. This lager just doesn't make it, has just a little more body than a Corona and that is not saying much. Part of the problem may be the clear bottle.

Boring, bland, blah. There's no way this is the "Passion of Spain." Not a terrible lager but nothing special.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
They call it the passion of Spain. Came in clear bottle. Very pale yellow color. Skunky smell. Taste is a bit sour. Not a bad beer but certainly not the greastest. A refreshing beer after all.
