350ml bottle from Gourmondo.de labelled as Cubanero, clear dark yellow colour, small fully vanishing fizzy white head, virtually no lacing. Moderately malty aroma of grain and molasses with a hint of citrusy hops and alcohol. Taste is initially sweet and slightly acidic, turning into an abrupt sweetish finish with a marginal hint of bitterness and a slightly alcoholic feel. Light body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation. Not a very good tropical lager with more booziness than usually is the case at this stength some more aroma than usual though.. At least the label is cool.

Can at home, from Cuba. Clear yellow color with a small to average white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffee, cane sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft and alcohol comes through bit in finish.

Aroma bem sutil, amarelo escuro quase dourado, pouca espuma e perde rápido. Leve amargor, persiste por pouco tempo, passa, mas nada demais

Backlog. Tried it a couple of times while visiting cuba as well as the cubanero version at home. Standard caribbean lager with a good dose of sweetness.

350ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden colour with a small head. Aroma of citrus wheat and hops. The taste is slightly sweet with lemon and lime notes. On the sweet side, faint citrus, slight sugary finish. Crisp, and nice to drink on a spring lunchtime.

350 ml bottle. The beer starts malty-watery. The mainpart is a bit malty-metallic, slightly sweetish and not as easy drinkable as expected. I don’t like this grainy-sweetish taste. The aftertaste is (sadly to say) long, grainy-sweetish-metallic.
Not a very good lager - much too sweetish! --> 6/9/5/6

Poured bright golen with a minimal white head. Aroma of sweet grain. Weak, watery body, flavour is sweet and cloying.

Pours amber, head disappeared so quickly I don’t know what it looked like. Slightly syrupy, alcoholic aroma with some grassy hops and malt. Taste of grassy hops, followed by maltiness and a slightly bitter finish. Easy and pleasant to drink.
