Golden colour and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is lightly hoppy and a bit odd, unpleasent. Sweet flavor. A bit fatty texture.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with a froathy medium head. The aroma is sweet grass and corn. Taste is clean grains and water. Not horrible as you would think.

Can brought back from my Mother on a recent trip to Cuba. This Cuban gem pours a pale yellow and is topped with a frothy, but short lived white foam. Nose of corn and sugars, some grass and a bit of honey. Tastes initially sweet of malts and some adjunct, almost syrupy, leading to a bit of grassy hops and melon frutiness. Finishes a bit heavy, but overall better than expected.

Bottle 33cl. at home. [ As Cubanero Fuerte ]. Clear yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffee, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [160908]

Bottle: Thanks Per! Pours a sparkling golden with a fluffy white head-good retention. The aroma is sweet pale malts- bready and sweet dough. The body is very creamy- surprising for a Carribean Pale Lager. The flavor also has some bready malt. It is a bit sweet, but at least it has the substantial malt base giving it natural body and doughy character. It almost reminds me of a mediocre German Helles with little bitterness. One of the better/best Pale Lagers of the Carribean I have had to date.

Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Labeled Cubanero Fuerte. Pours a pale golden yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aromas of hops, grass, and grains. Flavor is a kinda sweet, watery body, nice crisp hoppy/grain taste with a nice clean finish.
