Smells like corn syrup, tastes like musty basement. Still it has a semblance of taste which is more than can be said of many Caribbean lagers

Can at LS X. Pale gold pour with a white head. Fizzy, watery body. This is like drinking sparkling corn cider with an unpleasant alcohol flavor tacked on.

Smells like apples, corn, that’s about it. Hazy golden pour. No head. Wow. Sweet and corny. Lingering gross sweetness. Well it drinks easily.

12 oz bottle, Mexico. Pours a pale yellow color with little head. Aroma is yeasty as expected, no malt or hop character noted. Taste was equally yeasty and bitter, not very complex. Palate was average for a pale lager. I guess this is the cuban version of bud light in the US or sol/corona in Mexico.

bottle - not a whole lot going on here, sweet corn flavor with a light hint of alcohol, goes well with red beans and rice though.

330 ml can sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Golden body with a diminishing white head. Light corn flavor, a bit sweet and noticeable bitterness. Thin body, no really off flavors but not many good flavors either.

Again, another lackluster pale lager. Colour is a light copper. Aroma is grain and corn with a slightly skunk. Taste is very thin on body and flavours are again grain, malt with a slight touch of caramel. Overall not that interesting.

Bottled 0,33L. Compact head but rather escaping. Amber yellow color, slightly fraught with good bubbly aspcet. Light cereal and malty aromas, little other. Metallic taste, unbalanced, with a powerful alcoholic note on the end.

Canned@RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. A layer of grey bubbles covering a pale gold colored body. An unfresh sweet scent from the adjuncts. Notes of vegetables and butter. Taste has a quite harsh sweetness. Mildly hopped, some straw/grass maybe, and a note of lemonade. Oily in the mouth. Short sweetish, faint bitter ending. Hard to appreciate.
