A cuban beer? Tick, please! Don’t mind the clean dark golden body. The smell is... on the spirits side of a mass produced pilsner. Alcoholic and some rusty metal. Peppery, perhaps. Taste is sharp and alcohol, even at this abv, shines through. Boring, very boring taste. Sharp sparkles and beside some faint bitterness there is very little to it. Bleh. Ah well, the taste isn’t exactly what I got this beer for. Stupid me. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

StoutHead (673) - DENMARK - APR 28, 2014
Can and bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Not much aroma to speak of. Taste is, expectedly, of malt, hops and grain with a lot of alcohol in the finish. Very sweet and a bitter aftertaste. Cheap and good for getting drunk in the evenings, but that’s about it.

Aroma: very malty, bread, light caramel. Appearance: clear gold, medium frothy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: light bitters coming up, but sweets persist, medium carbonation. Overall: boring Lager, but very drinkable in the Cuban heat. Bottle from Wittich Weine, Switzerland.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack leicht malzig, wässrig, getreidig, minimal herb.

MarkoNm (579) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - APR 6, 2014
Pours a clear golden color. There are about two fingers of white froth head that immediately disappears. The aroma is mild but pleasant. Some basic malts and grains are picked up. The taste is light, not really watery. Starts sweet, continues with nicely balanced body, high carbonation, and finishes with a slight bittery feel. Refreshing and easy to drink. Decent.

Bottle as Cubanero Fuerte at Supper. (my first one from Cuba). Golden with a minimal white head. Sweet with butter, malt and some light fruit. Drinkable but boring.

Bière blonde dorée, voir légèrement ambrée, quasi pas de mousse mais forte effervescence. Très peu d’odeur, du malt sinon. Légère amertume, pas vraiment de goût, assez fade. Sans intérêt ...
