riversideAK (1630), Shoreline, Washington, USA Sep 13, 2008 Reddish brown pour with a big tan head. Aroma is very malty and sweet with toffee and lots of ripe fruit. Similar flavors, very sweet, almost cloying with bit of booze and a floral finish. ysusi (10), Mexico, Mexico Jul 17, 2008 Reddish mahogany with tiny head. Smells like figs, dates and caramel. Very sweet malts but well balanced with some hops. Medium-full bodied. Some alcohol on the back, definitely warming. Sweet finish with a mild bitter fade.
Best Mexican. Not a lot to compete with, but the best undoubtedly. JorisPPattyn (4490), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 22, 2008 Draught. Marks for Appearance are an average, as beer was sampled in weak artificial light after dark. Fusels, raisins, ethanol, candi sugar ans some mushrooms aroma. Sweet taste, bread, and unidimensional, compared to the nose - more’s the pity. Well bodied, lots of alcohol and -burning, dangerously slick (in going down). Surprising beer for MX. And NOT bad. gerardoluna (168), Mexico Mar 16, 2008 Updated: Jul 19, 2008mmmm! mmm! mmmh!!! great beer, trust me, i eat some bread with "ahuacate" a mexican vegetal before try this beer and Booom! an extraordinary flavor round in my mouth [ i leave the veggie and take a chaiser of coffe liquor mmmmm!!!! try it!!]

Darker amber, almost no head. Aroma is very fruity, some sherry notes, some caramel as well. Medium to full body, quite sweet. Possibly the best Mexican beer I’ve had.
