Clear amber/gold color with a foamy off-white head. Sweet caramel and honey aroma and flavor, with a good amount of hop bite to balance the sweetness. Not bad at all.

So much better than expected!!! 24 karat color with a tightly packed off-white head. Aroma is that of toffee, brown sugar, and honey. Flavor is subtly sweet but not sticky at all. I’d buy it again.

Bottle: Pours a bronze copper color with a nice tan head and decent lacing. The nose is very rich with caramel, diacetyl, honey and herbal hops. The flavor has a thick chewy diacetyl character but it works well with the crisp hop bitterness and honey sweetness that blend together towards the front of the tongue. Snappy bitterness but too much honey and diacetyl notes.

Pours a reddish brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of hops, caramel, honey and spices. Flavor is bitter hops, citrus, malt, but mostly dominated by hop bitterness. Cucapa knows how to use hops........ I just wish they’d figure out how to balance the flavor with other elements.
