IrishBoy (1987), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 30, 2008 12 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose of light flowery-piney hops and nuttiness; copper with a medium off-white head; flavor has medium hop bitterness, lemon, and some light caramel malt! Beats the hell out of Corona et al.
Jonpol (1231), Sasquatcho, Arizona, USA Jun 24, 2008 Beer pour with a good head, good retention, and a standard lace job. The color is a deep golden amber. The aroma is very effective in making it’s point. This thing wreaks of honey and I mean REAL honey and a tad bit of spice. Medium nectar weight with good carbonation. Loads of honey twisted into a chunky malt backbone. A little spice comes out and then a superb bittering component kicks in balancing it all out on the finish. I really didn’t want to drink this whole 12oz bottle but it really is the best honey beer I’ve ever had. Needless to say I drank it. Great job on this one. I drank this at 55F. chilangoglobal (47), Wagerningen, Netherlands May 5, 2008 Great taste and aroma mix together to create an enjoyable sensation in the mouth. 184601 (93), Mexicali, Mexico Apr 6, 2008 Wow, great beer. This ones good for dinner, the aroma its very floral hoppy,of course honey, some citrics too.Pours a a good-proportioned head, that fades slowly but quite doesnt dissapears, the body its cloudy golden yellow, the flavor has a very different kind of honey, not that sweet, very well balanced with the malts, the palate isnt sticky not even oily, overall if you can get it,Oh Boy!! go and ge it!! PaganBeer83 (19), tijuana, Mexico Mar 26, 2008 great after taste honey sweetness...refreshing, light and yellowish,
