3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
My first was big butter, but the replacement wasn’t at all. Pours amber bodied, stable off white head. Moderate amber malts, grassy and citric hops, bit herbal, sweaty yeast not quite fermented long enough. Medium bitter for the style, nice drinkable palate. Aroma isn’t quite right, bit too much vegetable, but I do really like the palate. (Bottle from The Beer Box Cancun)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy darkish amber with good lace left down the side of the glass from the off-white head. Aromas of mellow fruitfulness - stewed apples, apricots and peaches. There was more volcanic hoppiness in the flavour profile and a gratifyingly bitter finish from good punchy hops. Just lovely.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours an orange red with pink hues. Beautiful. Aromas are bready and sweet with notes of citrus. Flavors are mostly bitter.. A touch of malt.. needs more. A bit thin and watery.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mild and easygoing brew with a moderate citrus hop punch and mild toasted grain notes. Easy to sip with a bit of a bitterness on the finish. Balance is good and clean

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very cool label. Not bad for a pale ale. I would put the Chupacabra as a barleywine or imperial stout. Good citrus taste here but just not wow worthy. I preferred the Lookout blonde.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was not overly complex or flavorful. It essentially has a taste of mild hops and grain... however I personally felt in the simplicity it was quite palatable and drinkable. One of my favorites.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, thanks to brocansail. Almost clear deep amber/light copper liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of bread, dried fruit, stale hops, light pine, toast and light vegetables. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, toast, caramel, light pine and light butter. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very meh, stale and way too malty for the style. Mexico tick though!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle thanks to brocantsail. Pours a cleam amber color with medium head. Aromas of malt, corn, adjunct grain, and apple. The palate is watery, with flavors of grain, metal, bread, and some caramel sweetness. Pretty average.
