3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mild and easygoing brew with a moderate citrus hop punch and mild toasted grain notes. Easy to sip with a bit of a bitterness on the finish. Balance is good and clean

Very cool label. Not bad for a pale ale. I would put the Chupacabra as a barleywine or imperial stout. Good citrus taste here but just not wow worthy. I preferred the Lookout blonde.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was not overly complex or flavorful. It essentially has a taste of mild hops and grain... however I personally felt in the simplicity it was quite palatable and drinkable. One of my favorites.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, thanks to brocansail. Almost clear deep amber/light copper liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of bread, dried fruit, stale hops, light pine, toast and light vegetables. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, toast, caramel, light pine and light butter. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very meh, stale and way too malty for the style. Mexico tick though!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
8/10/2011: Cucapa Chupacabras... Aroma: Honeycomb cereal; herbal and floral hops. Appearance: Looks pretty much the same as the Cucapas Honey, but maybe a bit more golden and a slightly large head. Flavor: Soapy; honey sweetened pale malt followed by an dried herb and flower hoppiness; earthy in the middle; finishes dry with a decaying grassy taste. Palate: Medium-bodied; smooth, incredibly soft. Overall: Not good; actually, it’s worse than the Cucapa Honey!
