355mL thanks to womencantsail. Clear orange red. Weaker white foam. Nose is sweet grenadine, lemon, Mouthwash, some licorice like parsnip, shaper metallic notes. Taste is watery, dusty, some old grenadine, cherry, stale bread. Eh.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
8/10/2011: Cucapa Chupacabras... Aroma: Honeycomb cereal; herbal and floral hops. Appearance: Looks pretty much the same as the Cucapas Honey, but maybe a bit more golden and a slightly large head. Flavor: Soapy; honey sweetened pale malt followed by an dried herb and flower hoppiness; earthy in the middle; finishes dry with a decaying grassy taste. Palate: Medium-bodied; smooth, incredibly soft. Overall: Not good; actually, it’s worse than the Cucapa Honey!
12 fl. oz. bottle (5.8% Alc. Vol.) from The Andersons General Store in Toledo, Ohio. Rating #228 for this beer.

Pours lightly cloudy amber with low white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, resin, toffee, light grapefruit. Taste is pretty strong resin bitter with just hints of sweet back. Finish is somewhat abrupt. Light, slick body with soft carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bouteille 355 mL. Nez subtil de houblon. Amertume moyenne en bouche, on retrouve un peu les levures et un peu de malt sucré en arriere-plan. Corps moyen. Sans grand éclat, mais tout de même agrèable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from my brother as a birthday gift. Pours a copper Brien from the bottle with very thick, bubbly, off-white head that sticks nicely. Aroma is odd, a hint of pale madly and hops, a slight astringency. Taste follows, a bit boozy and sour. This may have turned, can’t find a bottling date on the anywhere.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a nice biscuit malt with floral hops and light honey. In mouth, a nice pale ale with roasted malt, floral hops, reminiscent of st-ambroise pale ale.
