Bottle. Poured an orange, bronze color with a small, but compact off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, honey, bread and some floral hints. For the first time with this brewery, I was a bit disappointed. In all fairness though, I was probably expecting too much from a golden ale. Flavor was a bit too cloying, with a lot of honey and sweet malt. Bready as well, with little hops as expected. Despite my criticism, this is definitely an above average of the style.

Thanks to cbkscubert for a bonus bottle in trade. Pour is a rusty bronze with a decent off white head. Aroma is honey and bready malt. Sweet honey flavor without being cloying. Soft carbonation here. Not a bad beer for what it is.

Clear amber with a fizzy white head. Nice floral honey aroma. Light/medium body. Decent malty sweetbread flavors with a fermented honey essence. Crisp clean finish. Not too bad.

12oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a nice clear golden color with a small white head. Nice nose of honey, sweet malt and yeast. A pretty good blond/ honey ale.
