A true creation of innovative Chicano culture, these masterpieces with humble beginnings have captured the attention of automotive fans worldwide as only Mexican creativity can. In tribute we created Low-RYE-der a double rye beer with a strong malt profile and a bunch of hops.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted rye and malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet tingly finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Pours clean sharp amber with one finger of sandstone tan head. Spicy nose with a nice malty sweetness and light citrusy character. Flavor is very spicy with lots of juniper and a little bit of an over steeped tea astringency. Dry palate with an astringent bite. Interesting.
