3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mexican craft beer from the North American advent calendar. Color is reddish brown and clear. Small head absent lacing. Smells of chocolate, malt ball candies and biscuit. Taste is a little watery, chocolates and malt. Low carbonation. Easy drinking, if not unremarkable, malt forward beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has an aroma of malt and cocoa, not to bad.
Appearance- This beer pours a reddish-brown with a large off-white head.
Taste- Has a sweet caramel malt flavor, a tad to sweet for me
Palate- A medium bodied and moderately carbonated
Overall- First beer from this brewer, pretty good. I will definitely try other offerings from Cucapa.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium amber-brown, quite caramelly on the nose. Taste is similar with a funny phenolic note. Sweet and I’m not sure I’d take this over Indio.

Pours a clear dark brown with a thin off-white head. Sweet malt aromas with some nuttiness to it. Lots of sweet caramel malts in the mouth. There is also a touch of roasted malts and toffee flavors. Overall pretty light body with an ABV of 4.8 %. Tasty malty dark beer!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle of "American Brown Ale" enjoyed at La Internacional Cerveceria in Cozumel, MEX.
Pours with a good sized and very durable head.
This is a nice brown ale with fairly good balance overall and very good bitter-sweet balance. Unlike some recent American Browns, this ale is markedly more malty than hoppy. The flavor is good but not great and features dark brown bread with a hint of hops. The aroma is lightly sweet and spicy.
