Malt and hop aromas. Golden coloured a little fruity hoppy and malty with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a slightly earthy malt finish.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 2 on 1 December 2010. Amber / gold colour. Slightly grainy malt aroma with a less than enticing sweaty sock edge. Livened up a bit on the palate. Malt is a little bready, with some balancing tangy hops - some citrus. OK but didn’t seem in the greatest nick to me.

1st December 2010 Pigs Ear. Clear gold beer with a residual white head. Light semi dry palate. A little toffee malt well balanced with minerally mild orange hop. Finishes semi dry. Well joined up and very drinkable.

Cask at the Pig’s Ear BF 2010. Orange-gold pour with light bubbles for a head. Heavy bread aroma, with some caramel and hay hops. Nice balance in the flavor. More very bready malts, faint peanuts, some orange citrus, light, straw hops. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Some citrus bitters linger in the finish with light, bready malts. Some earthy hops in the throat. Quite good overall.
