Draft. Hazy golden yellow color, large fluffy white head. Aroma of white pepper and a bit of dusty barnyard. Taste is malty with citrus, bread, straw. Decent.

0.75l bottle from saveur-biere.com. Hazy golden colour, mid-sized, foamy white head. Intensive malty base with hints of honey and vanilla with some spicy, herbal hops, slightly dry and dusty, in the finish. Smooth palate. Well balanced bière de garde.

75cl bottle, a present from the brewer, brought home to Blighty and rested for four weeks before sampling. A pepped up version of his amber-ish Blonde made for a mate at a local tourist haunt to sell as their own brew, though clearly labelled as from Theillier and to the usual highly competent standard. Candy sweet but rounded out, with limited hop presence. Elements of tripel and meibock, oddly.
