Cask at The halfway house edinburgh. Dark amber to brown colour, small off white head. Medium body with a long lasting bitterness. Maybe not too balanced, I miss the freshness a bit.(30-12-2014)

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy dark amber coloured with a rich spicy malt and blackcurrant flavour, roasted notes followed by a peppery nutty finish. Very Nice.
Extra Special Bitter. Maris Otter barley; Yeast: Our own Brewer’s Yeast; Hops: Bramling Cross. Fuggles, Goldings, Admiral. Bottle Conditioned.

Cask at The Malt & Hops. Pours clear copper brown, thin white head. Aromas of toffee and nuts. Taste brings a light fruitiness, then a bitter finish. Medium body. Good.

Copper with a good sized off white head.
Nose is orchard fruits, light smoke, malty tones.
Taste comprises caramel, dark fruit twang, malt base, light nutty twang.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.

Draft. Nice deep copper with a good white head. Mild malty aroma. Surprisingly bitter. Not particularly complex but refreshing enough.

Clitheroe Beer Festival. Glowing copper coloured. Has a grainy fruit hopped aroma and taste, but not the most pleasant.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.
Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light nutty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
