Draft sample at KFOA. Poured clear daek copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

3/06/2011: Cumberland Amarillo IPA... Aroma: Juciy Amarillo hops waft from the glass - lots of citrusy orange and tangerine paired with some toffee maltiness. Appearance: Golden-amber color with just a slight haze; solid head of dense, thick, and lasting beige-colored foam; generous level of small carbonation bubbles is visible; really fine lacing. Flavor: Nice malt profile - toated grains, toffee, a little brown sugar and cocoa nibs; citrusy in the middle; the finish reveals the clementine and some grapefruit peel hoppiness as well as a moderate bitterness. Palate: Medium-full body; creamy and very smooth; mellow. Overall: REALLY good and VERY sessionable; I can’t decide which one is better - this beer or the CCumberland Simcoe IPA...
