Draft at Cumberland. This was actually the best of the beers I had this trip from Cumberland. Pours clear yellow. Nose is corny and grainy. Taste is much the same with some distant hoppy notes. This would be tasty on a hot summer day, too bad it was about 20 degrees outside. Overall, though, pretty nice cream ale.

Why the fuck is Cumberland literally INCAPABLE of making c clear beer? Get a damn Bright Tank for god’s sake. This beer’s character is primarily corny (taste and aroma of corn) and creamy. Hard to describe. A bit strange with the corn upfront but pretty smooth and mellow finish. Not as bad as I remembered, but still not my thing really.

On tap at Cumberland brew pub. Pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of mild perfumed malts backed up with a little honey. Taste is of sweet malts with some lemon, honey and some mild roasted malt character to it. Tilted to the malty side and not as creamy as other cream ales, but probably better.

Draft - their answer for "domestic" drinkers. A big, sweet corn aroma with no detectable hops. Looks much like their Mr. Bitters. Sweet corn flavor that matches the aroma. A touch of burn in the mouthfeel, but not a ton of carbonation. Good for what it is, but I couldn’t drink many of them.

On tap at the brewpub. A beautiful beer. Clear light yellow with a poofy white head. Aroma is corny and grainyInitially a sweet flavor, then the tongue is coated with a raspy flavor of harsh corn. Waxy and grassy tartness at the end. Great lacing.

Draft 10 oz. at Cumberland. Clear amber with moderate white head that diminished quickly. Moderate sweet aroma. Light body. Balanced sweet malt flavor with a short finish.

Pale gold in color, bordering on a straw hue. Malty aroma with little hop scent. Very smooth and malty flavor with great refreshing creamy malt finish. A favorite of mine from Cumberland.
