Tap (growler). Creamy barley malt and hay aroma. Pale yellow color with large white head. Mildly sweet barley malt and lightly bitter grass/hay flavor. Very nice. Have to admit I have a soft spot for cream ales since it was the only other style I could get besides pale lager and malt liquor when I first started drinking beer.

Pale gold in color, bordering on a straw hue. Malty aroma with little hop scent. Very smooth and malty flavor with great refreshing creamy malt finish. A favorite of mine from Cumberland.

On tap at the brewpub. A beautiful beer. Clear light yellow with a poofy white head. Aroma is corny and grainyInitially a sweet flavor, then the tongue is coated with a raspy flavor of harsh corn. Waxy and grassy tartness at the end. Great lacing.

Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Corn light sweet malt and earthiness. Sweet corn, light paper, light earthy bitter. Medium bodied but fizzy. Decent cream ale just lacking something.

Draft at Cumberland. This was actually the best of the beers I had this trip from Cumberland. Pours clear yellow. Nose is corny and grainy. Taste is much the same with some distant hoppy notes. This would be tasty on a hot summer day, too bad it was about 20 degrees outside. Overall, though, pretty nice cream ale.

Draft - their answer for "domestic" drinkers. A big, sweet corn aroma with no detectable hops. Looks much like their Mr. Bitters. Sweet corn flavor that matches the aroma. A touch of burn in the mouthfeel, but not a ton of carbonation. Good for what it is, but I couldn’t drink many of them.

Draft 10 oz. at Cumberland. Clear amber with moderate white head that diminished quickly. Moderate sweet aroma. Light body. Balanced sweet malt flavor with a short finish.

On tap at the 2010 Microfest in St. Louis. Pours a pale golden with an average white head that diminishes. Smooth sweet pale malt taste with very little hoppiness.
