Cumberland Dortmunder

On tap at the Cumberland brewpub as Dorkmonster. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of noble hops, lemon, wheat and pale malt. Taste of lemon, pale malt, noble hops and mild rye. Slightly sour.

Draft. Not much to sytle, but a good drinking beer on its own. Hazy, unflitered gold/orange body below a frothy white head. Hoppy, citrusy nose with some notes of toast and bread. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Light acidity. Light taste of orange juice. Light to medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Reminded me somewhat of an American wheat, especially Bells Oberron.

I had this last night under the title "Dorkmonster" - they still tagged it as a dry hopped dortmunder, so I am guessing it is the same brew. Really hazy yellow with a lingering foamy white head. (all of cumberlands brews are hazy, do they not have a bright tank?). Aroma of citrus, wheat, and floral hops. Awesome refreshing citrus wheaty hoppy flavor. NOT to style reallt, but quite pleasing. Medium to lite body with medium carbonation. Overall: great summer brew.

some serious hops on this one. coupled with some pretty heavy bitterness made it pretty intense. enjoyable but a bit much for me.

Labeled as Dry-hopped Dortmunder at the brewpub. Comes out blazing with an unfiltered gold body and nose full of American hops. Had a robusty bready character, though was overly bitter and hopped for a Dort, still a very nice beer.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

clear yellow. white head. funky malty dirty skunky german lager aroma light hops......i wish i had a better vocabulary for this style of beer......sorry i will work on that. the flavor is quite bitter and hoppy with light sweet toasted malt undertones. bitter lasting hop finish. light body. lively carbonation. decent for the style.
