TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Feb 17, 2009 Updated: May 2, 2009Pours dark brown with reddish hues and a mostly receding light tan head. Aroma is fruity, with notes of plum, toffee, and cherry. Taste is also quite fruity (cherry), but tends more towards phenols, notes of toffee, tree fruits, sweet malt, and plums. Mouthfeel is full bodied with moderate carbonation. Wasn’t a big fan of this, the esters were too dominant and the malts were very understated. 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Dec 31, 2008 on tap at cumberland. For some reason I want to say the bar tender told me this was a barrel aged scotch ale. Anyways, it is a very dark clear amber pour with small white head. Pretty boaring but very on cue with the style. Very inoffensive and smooth.
