Tap at brewpub. Honey malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow color. Honey flavor initially followed by malt and a mild bitter finish. A great mead.

I really liked this one. very light and sweet honey flavor, a touch more alcohol flavor than i’d have liked, but overall a very pleasant refreshing experience.

On tap at Cumberland brew pub. Yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of honey, taste of honey and mild lemon. Very smooth and easy to drink. A malty consistency that had a semi-puckery finish. This was the first time I’ve ever tried meade so I have no basis for comparison, but I thought this one was pretty solid. I wish the honey beers that hardly taste like honey would taste a bit more like this one.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2006 Pours opaque in the color of pineapple juice. Aroma of light flowers, citrus, and honey. Taste is lightly sweet and bready flavor from the ale yeast. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Delicious.

Cloudy straw gold pour with no carbonation. Sweet honey aroma and a hint of abv. Honey, light sweet, with an earthy finish. A bit thin and watery but very nice.

Hazed light yellow body. Slightly sweet nose that has some honey and floral notes to it. Taste is surprisingly light and easy to drink. This is not one of the overly thick and overly sweet meads that have driven me away from trying more of the style. Lemon flavors with a nice alcohol note are here. A touch of sticky but not overly so. Definite lemon drop candy flavor here. I like the way this does not overpower with anything and allows the more delicate flavors to be detected. This was a very cool little treat. Nose was obviously of some light honey and taste was very much of honey and fusel alcohol, though there was also some nice beer-esque taste. The more I drank it, the more it grew on me, as I"m not a huge honey fan. Pale yellow, no head, a bit sparkling. Nice.

Draft sampler at CB. Hazy light amber color with a moderate white head that diminished quicky. Heavy honey aroma. Medium body with thick smooth texture. Moderate honey flavor with long sweet honey finish. Interesting brew.

Cloudy and the color of urine. Strong, grocery store honey notes. Lemon in the nose. Weak. Alcohol well-disguised though.

Not a big mead fan but gave it a try, still not a fan. Gold pour, honey scent and taste.
