TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Mar 26, 2006 Pours dark orange with a thin fully receding white head. Aroma of bready, malt lager yeast, caramel, and toasted cracker maltiness. Taste of toasted malts, toffee, and bread dough. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. This oktoberfest was pretty good, much better than I expected considering Cumberland does not usually brew lagers. Very clean fermentation from a yeast that seems nearly identical to Wy2308. This beer did a good job balancing the maltiness from the lager yeast and the malts themselves.
