On nitro tap at Cock & Bull.
A nice, well rounded, porter served on a nitro tap. Not a ton of aroma or flavor, but does contains hints of roasted malt. Some burnt flavors stick out as well. Smooth palate and easy to drink.

Aroma of chocolate, light coffee roastiness and a touch of red grape. Appearance was dark amber with bone head. Flavor matched the nose, but with the roast level brought up a notch. Palate is soft and oily. Average.

On tap in an English pint. Pours black with a cream-colored head. Aroma of the chocolate and smokiness of the porter. Light texture like a Guinness, and the flavor is good but not overpowering. A pretty good beer, but porters aren’t really my style and it’s sort of light for me.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2010 Nice dark color, cream color head. Rich chocolate taste but it doesn’t overpower. The flavor does not linger. Some beers leave a bitter after taste but not this one.
