12/22/2010: Cumberland Simcoe IPA... Aroma: Canned mandarin oranges and pineapple. Appearance: Golden-orange-amber color; mostly clear. Flavor: Soft, citrusy (orange) and canned mandarin oranges; grainy toffee-ish malt undertones; the 8.0% ABV is completely hidden. Palate: Medium body; soft and smooth. Overall: This is a very solid IPA; exceeded my expectations!

Growler fill (draught) from Party Town in Florence, Kentucky. Rating #4 for this beer.

Growler shared by shigadeyo. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma is earthy and citrus hops, mild bready malts with a touch of cat urine. The flavor has bready malts, earthy, and mild citrus. Mild bitterness to the finish. OK, not great.

Hazed orange pour with white head and lace. Light bread and citrus hops. Caramel malt, bready, with a light bitter finish. A bit thin with good carbonation. A beer that smells better than it tastes but is still pretty good.

Growler shared by shigadeyo. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. This is a good beer.
