Black with a creamy tan head. Smokey grain aroma and a big smoked peat taste with a burnt malt finish.

am I really the first to rate this. Anyways, here we go. Muddy brown color (does Cumberland not have Bright Tanks?) with a weak head. Pretty weak but inoffensive aroma - roasted malt with just a hint of smoked malt and coffee. Lit roastiness, smoked malt, and hop bitterness on the flavor. This beer is so balanced that it is pretty much boring. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall: nothing speical, just like msot of cumberlands brews. They are all solid but very unworthy of special mention. They all have a "good homebrew" quality to them.

Draft at brew pub. Pours a murkey dark brown with a very small head. Aroma is strong in smoke/campfire and toasted malts. Notes of caramel, chocolate, and other spices come out on a second sniff. On the palate, it is creamy and smooth, not much carbonation. The flavor almost hides the smoked aspect and brings out the sweet malts. The finish is a little dry. By the aroma, this beer was not what I expect, but I really enjoyed it.
