3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From cask at the kings arms barrow. The nose is pine and resin and wood almost foresty. Aperance is pale gold with creamy white head. Taste is bold hops that ad pine and apricot with a lot of hop bitterness but not unpleasant quite the opposite

Bottle from Open All Hours, Keswick. A pale golden beer with very little carbonation. It has strong pine and citrus flavours, slight toffee notes and a creamy fruity finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Gravity fed half-pint at the 36th Cotswold Beer Festival 2012.
Pale golden body with a small but staying head of white foam.
Hops all the way with this brew, citrus and woody both in the aroma and taste. Not one of those over hopped bombs that some brew, this had a bit more class about it.
Not really my sort of brew (too hoppy) but I did apprieciate it before moving onto maltier beers.
