Brewed in England with precision and passion to create a uniquely satisfying, drier, cleaner, fresher, lager beer. We use East Anglian malt, Saaz and Cascade hops, then re-ferment using Champagne yeast before adding a "dosage" of the rare and fragrant Nelson Sauvin hop, before cold filtering this unpasturised beer into bottle.

My son had a pint of this in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire: I grabbed a large portion of it (just to rate it on here). Golden, bright and clear look with the usual lager/pilsner white but thinning head. Mild hop nose with a crisp hoppy bite to the taste. Not getting over excited, but a decent enough UK brewed lager and a lot better than the mass produced Carling’s of this world.

A lager-beer that satisfied this ale drinker. It has a nice colour and an interesting taste. I’ll certainly go back for more.

Bottle - lively golden body with a foamy crisp white head. A foul aroma of cereal and must. Taste of sugar syrup and grapes - strangely like white wine. Light body, medium carbonation. Strange.

Bottle at The Pullmann in Folkestone. That one is wonderful example how Lagers can score. Of course it has an easy drinkability but it also has that crispy taste and aftertaste, those nice aromatic hops upfront and it grassy taste. Wonderful Lager to cheer. Thumbs up.

Bottle from The Pullman in Folkestone. Pours out in a clear golden colour with airy head and medium body. Aroma of fresh hops and flowers. Taste of fresh hops, citrus fruits, flowers, pine, spruce and light herbs. Welcome light sour finish. For a lager, this is a very drinkable and nice lager I enjoyed.

Pours a nice golden pint with a decent head. Aroma’s are a pleasant fruitiness but there’s no taste, it has a complete absence of taste. It almost felt like it was draining taste from my body.

On tap. Decent hazy gold pour, with minimal head. Light, fruity, mild hops, a touch of bitterness. Went nicely with a meal and quite drinkable overall. Nothing exceptional, but can’t complain really.

Bottle, best before October 2015. Clear yellow with a medium sized diminishing white head. Sulphur, grain, citrus, light herbal and flowery. Light/medium body, oily texture, soft/medium carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Ok crisp and easy drinking, aroma is a bit shy and unconvincing.

0.33l bottle from the local shop. Pours pale golden with thin white head. Aromas of yeast, malt, some citrus and white wine. Decent for a lager. But it falls through on the palate, too thin and watery. Almost no finish, just some very light fruitiness, and a tad acidic.
