COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 330ml bottles (not bottle conditioned).
Brewed in England with precision and passion to create a uniquely satisfying, drier, cleaner, fresher, lager beer. We use East Anglian malt, Saaz and Cascade hops, then re-ferment using Champagne yeast before adding a "dosage" of the rare and fragrant Nelson Sauvin hop, before cold filtering this unpasturised beer into bottle.

Bottle from supermarket. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, malts, fruits, floral hops and caramel. Nice crisp body, great balance between hops and malts. Bitter finish with fruits and citrus. Excellent lager.

Clear, lager yellow beer with a white head. Interesting honey notes with a hint of citrus on the nose. Quite crispy carbonation. Pretty basic lager with an interesting twist from the champagne yeast. Light and refreshing, good for thirst just like any other lager. I’m giving good points for this for the slight effort of trying to be different and in a way succeeding in it.

one of the better lagers, really crisp. obviously the unortohodox re-ferment process is to credit here.

Bottle. Clear golden color with no head. British pale ale type of aroma, sweet fruity hops, notes of hay. Malty taste of grain and hay. One of the best lagers I’ve had.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a golden colour with a small diminishing head. Aroma of grapes, grass and some vegetables. Flavour of grainy malts, tart grapes, mango and grassy bitterness. Some weak vegetable-like notes on the flavour as well. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel and low carbonation. Interesting.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy, white froth. Some funky citrus fruits in the nose, pale biscuity malts. Light sweet flavor, some mis-placed funkiness, mango, lemon, light grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Funky tang to finish, some juicy citrus fruits. Odd. Not sure if this is totally intentional. As it is, not awesome. (2.9)Bottle at a ChrisO tasting - London. Pours clear, light yellow with a fine, white film for a head. Grain, corn and hay comprise the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugar, dough and faint grassy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light sweetness to finish with mild doughy bread and hay. A weak effort here. (2.9)

Nov 2012 - bottle, cold. Advertised as a lager. Fruity wine/champagne qualities, mild lager and mild IPA qualities too. Good mix of the styles. Sweet, vibrant, potent flavours. Liked it a lot. V drinkable and interesting. Rating... 4! [........] Feb 2013 - Sadly I didn’t enjoy it as much as last time. The hops and wine qualities were dampened and so it was really just a more carbonated lager. I was eating some strong tasting food at the time though, but my feeling is that this was a watered down batch. Nowhere near as vibrant or interesting as the last bottle I had. Disappointing. 3.4
