2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Big offwhite head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Light
fruity wine grape aroma, fairly faint. Dryish fruity wine grape
taste with watery notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish
mealy wine grape aftertaste with herbal spicy papery notes. It’s
OK, but a bit papery and austere. (0.33l bottle from Meny

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Skummer bra. Lukter godt av sitrus og blomster. Overraskende fruktig og bitter. Positiv overraskelse.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml brown bottle. Straw coloured brew, clear. Small white layer of bubbles on top, a few faint spots of lacing. Nose is fruity, some orange peels and a mild tropical grape like note. Taste has some mild malt up front, fruity middle, light grassiness. Aftertaste has some grass and mild fruit, ends dry. Standard carbonation and light body. Better than expected.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, Browns, Liverpool. Yellow, lagery looks with a thin white head. Weird nose of fruit and veg on the turn that wasn’t entirely pleasant. Grain and corn in the rather insipid flavour. Very forgettable. Meh.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.33 l bottle from local supermarket. No head, lots of bubbles, as expected from a champage beer. The combination of champagne yeast and hops produced something similar to America Pale Ale, a floral bitterness. Still a bit on the mellow side of what it could have been, but quite refreshing.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Saint Pierre’s Seafood bar, Shrewsbury Market Hall. I must admit the reason I picked this up was because I was curious about the use of Champagne yeast in this, but generally found it a bit lacklustre. There is some wine-like citrus to this, but the overall flavour seems a little weak with little trace of the Saaz or Cascade hops it apparently contains.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Medium golden, slightly hazy, with a generous white foam head that laces lightly. Cereal grains with grass and light citrus accents. Grainy palate, modestly sweet with a slightly creamy quality, dull citrus, more grass, light earth, mildly bitter.
