COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 330ml bottles (not bottle conditioned).
Brewed in England with precision and passion to create a uniquely satisfying, drier, cleaner, fresher, lager beer. We use East Anglian malt, Saaz and Cascade hops, then re-ferment using Champagne yeast before adding a "dosage" of the rare and fragrant Nelson Sauvin hop, before cold filtering this unpasturised beer into bottle.

Bottled. Golden colour, nice white head. Aroma is bready, grainy, mildly rubbery notes. Flavour is bready, grassy and some slight toasted notes. Mild floral hopping. Quite grassy finish.

Not sure if it’s a lager or an ale but I really enjoyed this. Very refreshing with a pleasant aftertaste. Also very fizzy so beware if drinking with large meals!

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Pale gold beer - clear. Short bubbly white head. Light dry palate. Smooth pale malt. Mild citrus. Like the feel of the champagne yeast in this one - comes over as a lager. Decent.

Scopey (3243) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2012
Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours straw yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is hay, straw, grass, lime and sherbet. The taste is hay, straw, yeast, spice, citrus pith, cereal and grass, with a clean, dry finish. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Clean and crisp. Nothing to dislike really, just a touch unexciting.

Bottle from Waitrose 08.12.11 consumed 28.03.12 Light gold in colour, nice nose bit of fresh exotic fruit, reminds me a little of Kipling, really good nose. Taste does not quite live up to the nose but it isn’t bad, some soft fruit, sweetish malts, tiny bit dry, its not bad at all and when I finished I was looking for a bit more from the bottle, sadly it was gone. Interesting stuff - it looks like a lager but has a nose like a beer. Not sure it really works but it's actually quite tasty

Bottle. Light gold with a white head. Aromas are grain with lime and gooseberry. Melon with lager malt and grassy notes. Flavours are crisp, dry cereal malt with grassy hops and gooseberry and peach. Dry on the finish with a spritzy carbonated finish and a buttery palate. Pretty likeable.

Bottle, as Curious Brew Lager Beer 4.7% abv, from Waitrose Lincoln. Pale gold, thin shortlived white head and low condition. Gentle fruity hoppiness in the nose, quite dry in the mouth with a low melon fruitiness and a delicate hop note, a slight fruitiness lingers briefly in the finish before the hops take over again to leave an oily bitterness.
