Brewed in England with precision and passion to create a uniquely satisfying, drier, cleaner, fresher, lager beer. We use East Anglian malt, Saaz and Cascade hops, then re-ferment using Champagne yeast before adding a "dosage" of the rare and fragrant Nelson Sauvin hop, before cold filtering this unpasturised beer into bottle.

Pours a golden, very pale, watery-looking body with a small, white, short-lived head that leaves some lacing. Fairly strong aroma that is quite crisp, with notes of pale malts, citrus, caramel and faint hints of tropical fruits. In the moderate flavours the fruity notes are more of the generic kind, without any tropical notes. The taste is light to moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, light body, dry texture, lively carbonation. Not too bad.

Delightfully sparkling, with yellow-amberish colour. Small, but nice, off-white head. Hops, citrus, light malt, some bread. The taste feels soft and balanced, whereas the palate is medium frizzy.

Bottle, pours golden with a nice firm white frothy head, not overly carbonated. Some citrus fruits, grapefruit and lemon on the nose. A touch of hops on the palate with some caramel and right at the end a touch of grass. Nice for a lager.

tmrmwel (959) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle. Pours yellow with a big creamy head. Aroma is very fruity with yeast and hops, some crisp champagne-ish whiffs with minerals, wine grapes and Nelson Sauvin. Body is full with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter with peach and light tropical notes of passion fruit as well as some pepper and a sweet fruity finish. Very fruity, yet crisp. Curious indeed, as well as quite nice.

TBone (12547) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 28, 2013
Bottled 330ml Lumo. Clear golden color, good white head. First some sweetish notes, then hayish aroma. No trace of Cascade or Nelson Sauvin. Light-bodied. Cardboardish front, then sweetish maltyness, light grassy hops. Some white wineous notes (from champagne yeast) but otherwise quite ordinary lager despite of good description.
