Not sure my curiosity was satisfied. It is an interesting mix of traditional English hops and new world citrusy hops alright. But the traditional hops won. Itís lacking in sharpness and a little on the sweet side.

Bottle. Clear amber, frothy head. Fruityish caramel, some toffee. A bit boring, actually, did not make me curious at all.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2013
May 2013 - cold bottle. Brassy orange brown colour, no head. Not much going on in the smell. Taste is quite unusual - metallic in a good way, some caramel and slightly smokey/earthy, a bit watery. (3.5)
Sep 2013 Bottle from Wholefoods Kensington. Drunk rating Iím afraid - so just giving the gist. Tastes like a lemony lager, metallic. Not good. (2.2). Average becomes 2.9

Citrousy, straw, good, not a favourite, but it is enjoyable. I would have it again, but I wouldn't go seek it out.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Spicy nose with some nutmeg and a hint of citrus. Pours a medium amber with no head. Flavour is fresh with some blackcurrant notes but not as balanced as the label promises. All told ok, but nothing special.

Clear Amber pour, thin white head. Hoppy, brioche bread aroma. Flavour is bitterness, with some sweet malt. Very light body. Medium soft carbonation. Ok. Touch of sourness in the finish.
