Grabbed a six pack of this for a friend. Tried one and liked it. It was a pale, cloudy gold with a light lemon aroma. Flavor was good, not over powering. Nice summer beer.

Growler. Poured hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of lemons and spice. Very lemony flavor. Refreshing, crisp, and overall a pretty good shandy.

Poured from 12oz bottle. Found this to be surprisingly wonderful. Very light and fruity. Really nice taste. Perfect for a hot day if you want something different. This is the best take on a shandy i've tried.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a hazy yellow. Has a very strong lemon zest aroma. Taste is very citrusy with mostly lemon and same orange peel. Some spices appear closer to the end, but the citrus flavor is still very strong.

Nice shady with a nice lemonade taste. Able to drink a little to many of then without noticing the little alcohol in it.

Bottle. Nose is a little spicy and definitely very citrusy and lemony. Taste is a little sour from the lemon in the beer, but the spices work through as well. It’s an OK drink, just a little too spicy for me.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Approximately 4 oz. poured from 12 oz. bottle at a Washington Wine and Cheese Club beer tasting.
Hazy, pale peach color with a fine, off-white head and very good lacing.
Aroma of lime, lemon and wheat.
Taste of lime, lemon, grain and wheat.
Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation.
A good-looking, well-made shandy that resembles lemon-lime seltzer yet still retains and respects the character of the underlying wheat beer. Although this is a well-executed shandy, I personally would rather drink straight lemon-lime seltzer, if I want something this light. Let beer be beer.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A sample among six of its kind. I’m not too sure about this style. Too much lemonade not enough beer. Tastes like lemonade mix with beer. Maybe this style would appeal with real lemonade mixed in.

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Sewickley, PA. My wife brought home a six pack and I reluctantly tried one, confirming my suspicions that the shandy is a terrible way to ruin a good ale. I won’t travel this road again.
