2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma: lime, lemon zest, pale wheat.
Taste: sweet lemon, tart lime, grainy wheat cereal.
Medium body with high carbonation.
Good for what is is. Could be good choice for picnic and light pairings, shelfish for sure.

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sort of hard to judge a shandy on the same scale as an IPA. This was very similar to Leinenkugel’s. Not something I can drink all the time and two of these is my max because of the sweetness, but it can hit the spot on a hot day. Great lemon flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle drank at the hotel in NOLA - picked up at Walgreens in Arkansas. Pours hazy, matte gold with a creamy crown. The nose holds zesty lemon and lime, some pale bread. Moderately sweet, with more ple bread character, some hay, sugary lemon, ripe lemon, a little orange rind. Light bodied with average carbonation and massaging texture. Sweet, lightly sugary on the finish, with more sweet lemon, some grapefruit and tangerine. Nice shandy.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Kroger. Looks like grapefruit juice with a small white head. Aroma of lemon icing. Tastes like carbonated lemon cake (sure, that makes sense), Sprite, with some grain. Light-medium bodied.

Pours a hazy yellow from a bottle. Somewhat lemony- I suppose, but mostly just kind of a muddled letdown.

Surprisingly citrusy flavor. I was expecting a hint of lemon but the genuine flavor is there.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 1/2016. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemonade, lemon peel, light pepper, wheat, cracker, light honey, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of lemon juice/peel, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemonade, lemon peel, light pepper, wheat, cracker, light honey, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Light lemon tartness and earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemonade, lemon peel, wheat, cracker, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of lemon juice/peel, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a damn nice shandy style. All around great robustness and balance of lemon juice/peel, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
