Driven by wanderlust and a desire for discovery, the Curious Traveler™ set out to explore the globe. Always fearlessly inquisitive, he relished opportunities to befriend other travelers and to experience cultures he had only previously imagined. He sampled their wares, their foods and most importantly their libations. Some were good. Some not so good. Others were downright dangerous. Many years into his travels, his pace slowed on a particularly sweltering day. He sought refuge in a small pub to escape the oppressive heat. Before he could even finish wiping his brow, the bartender handed him a glistening glass of ale. The Traveler took a liking to the invigorating lemon shandy concoction. “Quite a refresher!” he said gratefully. The Traveler has never stopped exploring – in fact, he’s on the road this very day. Somewhere. Only one thing has changed: he now makes sure he orders a shandy everywhere he goes.

On tap at Dan's. The pour is strange. It's a pale yellowish straw color with not much opacity and a thin ring of fizzy white head. The aroma is lemonade, mixed with a thin, thin wheat beer. There is a little malt and a touch of yeast. The flavor is a nice lemonade phase that seems to roll through an adjunct mixture of wheat beer and dish water. The mouth feel is really thin and sweet with an aftertaste that is not lingering at all, and se what sweet with a not so great lemon flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very cloudy straw color with thin dissipating white head. Lemon citrus slightly sour aroma. Carbonation up front. Very low ABV hint of malt but mainly lemon juice soda flavor. Typical Radler, refreshing in a hot day.

12 ounce bottle pours a cloudy orange copper color with minimal to no head. Very extreme lemonade aroma. Medium body medium carbonation tastes like a drink with orange or lemon rind unit not like a beer at all. Not so good.

Draft pour at... I don’t know what this place is called. Pours a cloudy yellow orange color with a white foam head. Sweet lemon, cherry juice aroma. Flavor is very juicy. Lemin, cherry, mango, and light pineapple. So fruity. is this beer? Tastes like plain fruit juice to me. If this was ratejuice.com it would be decent, but here on ratebeer, it’s okay. Glad I tried it.

Tap - good size foamy head, medium yellow color, big lemon aroma and flavor, tastes like 75% lemonade/25% beer (yes a little of the beer comes through), pretty sweet with a mild tartness, not bad for a shandy I guess ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A- Lemons, sweet, artificial, cleaner. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Lemon drop candy, lemons, sweet, artificial P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, cloying finish. O- Smells decent if you like lemon candy, other than that this was pretty artificial tasting and quite cloying. I love a good shandy but this is really a ho hum shandy.
